Healed and Home

“And were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well: He maketh both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak.”  Mark 7(37)

man in praiseRev. R. St. Clair received his heavenly promotion early Saturday A.M., February 21, 2015. He experienced a massive stroke the previous Monday. He was saved in Tillicum in 1976 and pastored there in the 1989-1990 time frame and then from June — 2010 to the present. Rev. V. Espinoza has assumed the pastorate.

Jesus is a healer in the physical realm and in the spiritual realm. The greatest healing is that of a sin-sick soul. “Thou shalt call His name Jesus: for He shall save His people from their sins.” Matthew 1(21) He also is the great physician who heals the sick. “And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.” Matthew 9(35)

The question may be asked concerning Pastor St. Clair, why did God not heal him? The answer is Jesus did heal him. The Lord completely healed him. He has no more diabetes, no more pain, no more suffering, etc. He is healed for all eternity.

He is in his new home where he is far better off. “For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better.” Philippians 1(23) He experienced the Lord’s guidance during his transition to his heavenly home. “For this God is our God for ever and ever: He will be our guide even unto death.” Psalm 48(14)

“And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.” Revelation 22(5) “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.” Revelation 22(17) “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.” Revelation 22(21) Home, home at last!
